Aims & rationale
This workshop will introduce the KERTI network to support the utilisation of research; its exchange, translation and implementation. It will seek to widen the breadth of approaches/strategies as well as participant level in the KERTI Community of Solutions.
Methods
An invited speaker with considerable expertise in the implementation of research will give an overview of their approaches and successful strategies to overcome 'KERTI' challenges. Three ten minute presentations will explore different structures and approaches of 'KERTI', by speakers from the following backgrounds: Policy, Consumer, Health Care Professional.
Participants will be encouraged to discuss aspects of their own projects and experience within a KERTI framework: what has worked well, what are they 'stuck' on and how can they change it.
Anticipated outcomes
Participants will:
- better understand the benefits of how a KERTI mindset can support their own contribution to improving PHC
- appreciate how networking approaches can help them to achieve the implementation of research better
- contribute to the continuing development of the KERTI Community of Solutions
