In light of our recent PHC Research Conference, this is a timely reminder of PHC RIS’ suite of infoBytes on research and evaluation.
PHC RIS infoBytes are on-line information and skill building fact sheets that focus on an array of topics. Our infoBytes on research and evaluation include:

About research - clarifies what research is and provides you with definitions for the many research types.

Apply for research funding – covers numerous issues you need to address when considering your research question and applying for research funding.

Collaborative partnerships in research – shows you the relevance and value of collaborative partnerships between researchers, practitioners, decision makers, consumers and community members for strengthening research.

Ethical health research - provides you with guidelines and relevant articles relating to ethical health research.

Evaluation books, journals and articles – provides you with access to books, journals and articles relevant to evaluation.

Evaluation on-line resources - provides you with access to checklists, tools, guides, and other evaluation resources.

Getting started in evaluation – outlines the purpose of evaluation, definitions, glossary of terms, electronic discussion lists and provides you with guidelines for conducting evaluations.
