The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet, is a free web resource of over 5 000 pages, primarily funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing's Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (OATSIH). It is a “one-stop ‘info-shop' that aims to contribute to 'closing the gap' in health between Indigenous and other Australians by informing practice and policy in Indigenous health by making research and other knowledge readily accessible.”

The Health topics pages cover: Health facts; Chronic conditions; Infectious conditions; Other health conditions; as well as information on: Related issues; Determinants; Protective & risk factors; Population groups; Health systems; and Cultural ways.
The site includes links to ‘yarning places’ – “electronic networks that help people with an interest in Indigenous health to share information, knowledge and experience.” There are yarning places on various issues such as: Cardiovascular disease; Ear health and hearing; Indigenous health workers; Nutrition; and more.

The Health resources page in the website directs readers to a variety of HealthInfoNet's products including a bibliography of over 16 550 publications, Courses and training, Job opportunities, Conferences and events, Funding opportunities, Programs and projects, Organisations, Yarning places, e-message stick, HealthInfoNet cafes, Glossaries and abbreviations and a Guestbook.

There is a link to the Australian Indigenous HealthBulletin, a peer-reviewed electronic journal from the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet, the purpose of which is to “facilitate access to information of relevance to Australian Indigenous health” The HealthBulletin is published ‘in progress’ with each issue being open for three months with information published as soon as it arrives instead of waiting for weeks before the publication date. After three months the issue is closed and the next one started. The direct link to the HealthBulletin is <www.healthbulletin.org.au>.
