Where did the past year go? And, the first month of this year is already behind us. Isn't this a crazy pace to live life? You might ask what happened to those New Year's resolutions. Especially the one we all made about taking time out to smell the roses?
Well, we have the suggestion for you. Why not make time to attend the 2008 GP & PHC Research Conference in beautiful Hobart, 4-6 June. Yes, I hear you say, “but this is work, not play”. Well, we beg to differ.
If you have ever had the opportunity in the past to attend any of the GP & PHC Research Conferences, you would be well accustomed to them, and know that our delegates are well taken care of, the speakers are engaging, the program is stimulating and the surroundings are breathtaking.
The friendly, networking atmosphere of the conference ignites ideas, promotes collaboration and re-energises. On the other hand for those of you, who are not yet acquainted with the conference, do not hesitate and make this conference part of your New Year's resolutions.
Register for the conference now!
On-line registration is now open! Early Bird rate closes on 18 April. Make the most of the savings and ensure your place at this annual event.
The high calibre of this year's line up of speakers, include Professor Trisha Greenhalgh , Dr Tikki Pang , Professor Frances Baum , and Dr Mark Wenitong .
We now have the pleasure to announce our fifth speaker, Dr Mick Adams , who is Chairman of the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) and has worked as a Chief Executive Officer with the AICHS in Brisbane and Miwatj Aboriginal Corporation for Health in Nhulunbuy.
