|
| |
|
Dr Chris Pearce, AGPN
The RHIMO Network has been formed to build the Divisions Network's capacity in the area of information management, in particular in the quality of performance reporting against the National Performance Indicators for the National Quality and Performance System.
The RHIMO Network will assist Divisions to implement local change management strategies to build information management capacity. This will support improvement in the quality and management of information for all aspects of Divisions' core business.
The broad purpose of the RHIMO Network is to:
- enable communication and information sharing between Divisions from each state and territory and the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) on information management initiatives and best practice
- provide a forum for collaborative effort between the states, territories and AGPN on issues of mutual interest
- act as key points of contact for AGPN-led interactions with Divisions on information management initiatives
- provide education to Divisions on techniques for improving data quality
- provide advice and support to Divisions on alignment of the Division's information management strategy with their organisational strategy
- provide advice and support to Divisions on managing change
- deliver an information management resource toolkit to Divisions.
