PHC RIS Support

As one of the major components of the PHCRED Strategy, PHC RIS provides support in the area of dissemination and knowledge-exchange through:

PHC RIS publications

This includes eBulletin (a weekly email information service), PHC RIS Infonet (a bi-monthly newsletter) and RESEARCH ROUNDup (presenting Australian primary health care research). PHC RIS have also compiled a number of quality fact sheets providing assistance across a broad range of topics including: mentoring, website creation, dissemination, poster design and presentation, preparation and delivery of oral presentations and more.

GP & PHC Research Conference
PHC RIS organises the annual General Practice and Primary Health Care Research Conference - a major event in Australian general practice and primary health care research - to present research findings, discuss research methodology and policy issues, and build and maintain essential networks between researchers, practitioners, policy makers and representatives of consumer organisations.

ROAR
ROAR, an on-line database of information about Australian primary health care research projects, organisations, funding and researchers, raises awareness of primary health care research, reduces duplication of research effort, and facilitates collaborative research partnerships.
