Salary: $94 287–$107 381 per annum (pro rata) plus 17% Superannuation

The Centre for Mental Health Research aims to improve the mental health of Australians through research and development, training, policy and the dissemination of health information. ACACIA: The ACT Consumer and Carer Mental Health Research Unit has been established to undertake research in partnership with and for the benefit of mental health consumers and carers in the ACT. The Head of ACACIA is seeking to appoint a motivated graduate with lived experience as a mental health consumer or carer and expertise in mental health or psychological research to manage ACACIA projects.

The Research Fellow will have excellent academic skills, a strong interest in undertaking research of relevance to ACT mental health consumers and carers and a willingness to facilitate their participation as equal partners in the research process. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in mental health research design and implementation, the capacity to undertake both quantitative and qualitative research and strong organisational and project management skills.
