NQPS Planning & Reporting moving on-line

PHC RIS has negotiated with the Department of Health and Ageing to adapt the Microsoft Word based Planning & Reporting pro forma to a web-based format. This is part of the continual process to streamline the NQPS requirements associated with the Divisions Program.

In brief, this on-line system will allow Divisions/SBOs to:

  • Enter and submit Annual Plans (Planning Component)
    Update: went "live" Feb 07
  • Enter and submit Reports (6 & 12 Month)
    Update: went "live" Aug 07
  • View Annual Plans and Reports (also available to general public)
    Update: went "live" Jan 08

WHEN?

UPDATE

Planning Component
went "live" Feb 07

Reporting Component
went "live" early Aug 07

Display Component went "live" Jan 08

The project will be delivered in stages. In the first stage, Divisions/SBOs will use the Planning Component of the new on-line system for their 2007-08 Plan, due in March 2007. PHC RIS aims to make this Planning Component available to Divisions and SBOs in early February, further details and how to access the system will be made available at that time.

Please note, the 2006-07 6 Month Report due in February 07 must still be completed using the Microsoft Word based pro forma.

Later stages will provide the online system for reporting and then display of twelve month reports.

UPDATE

Demonstration accounts are available on application. Simply drop us an email with your details.

Much of this project is based on the success of moving the Annual Survey of Divisions (ASD) from Word to an on-line version earlier this year. The new Planning & Reporting system will be a similar system. For those of you who have not used the ASD on-line (especially SBOs), the following demonstration gives you some idea of the ASD system. The 'demo' does not visually match the final Survey as it was constructed back in May/June 06 prior to the system being complete. However the concepts still apply and similar concepts will apply to the new Planning & Reporting on-line system.
You can view this demonstration at:
http://www.phcris.org.au/divisions/surveydemo/
(It takes about 5 minutes to view, there is no audio).

Updates about this project will be made available on the PHC RIS Planning & Reporting Support pages at http://www.phcris.org.au/divisions/reporting/

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Much, if not all, of this project has now been completed. You can try the data entry part of the system that the Divisions, SBOs and STOs access with a 'demo' login. Demonstration accounts are available on application. Simply drop us an email with your details. You can also use the the 'Display Component' to view Approved Reports via the Activities of Divisions page of the PHC RIS website, no login is required.
