2005-06 12 Month Report result tables update

Background

Around 3rd August 2006 the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing sent the Divisons network members a letter regarding "Update on Planning and Reporting for the Divisions of General Practice Program".

This letter refers to a requirement that PHC RIS inform the members on how they can update their results tables in their Planning & Reporting pro forma. The following instructions detail this procedure.

Instructions

To update the result tables in your 2005-06 12 Month Report pro forma use the following steps. These steps have also been described with an animated screen capture demonstration.

Animated Screen Capture Demonstration
We recommend that you view this demonstration in conjunction with the written steps below for best understanding. Print this page and view this demonstration, it takes about 2 minutes to view.

  1. Download the updated result table file relevant to your organisation.
Saving this document in the same folder as your 2005-06 12 Month Report would probably be the most convenient.
  2. Make a copy of the latest version of YOUR Planning and Reporting pro forma
This is just for backup purposes in case you need to revert back to this version.
Please DO NOT SKIP THIS BACKUP STEP!

  3. In YOUR pro forma go to the section of the document called "Performance Indicator Result Tables"
Being in "View/Print Layout" may help with this.

  4. In YOUR pro forma delete the result tables that appear in this section
Be careful not to delete the section itself as this will lose Headers and Footers and also make any data extraction process more difficult.

  5. Open the document that contains the New Result Tables (New_Result_Tables_DIV.doc/New_Result_Tables_SBO.doc)
This is the document you downloaded in Step 1 above.

  6. Select all and copy the New Result Tables and paste into YOUR pro forma
Make sure your cursor is within the "Performance Indicator Result Tables" section.

  7. Confirm that it all worked OK.
Just a visual scan should be enough to be sure.

Remember to also view the demonstration of these instructions.
