2017 PHC Research Conference
The 2017 PHC Research Conference will be held over three days in Brisbane from the 7th to the 9th of August. The conference will be held at the Pullman King George Square located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD.
The Primary Health Care (PHC) Research Conference is the national knowledge exchange opportunity for people with an interest in PHC. It attracts some 450 delegates, contributing research as well as practice, policy, management and consumer/community perspectives. Delegates attend to stay current with recent PHC developments, trends and news. They appreciate the interactive nature of the conference and the opportunities it offers to contribute fresh thinking, build relationships, develop intersectoral ideas and exchange perspectives across the wider health system.
If you have an interest in PHC, then this conference is the place to present, hear, network, debate and spark dynamic ideas that impact health outcomes. The theme for the 2017 PHC Research Conference, Evidence and Innovation in PHC, builds on the foundations of evidence-based practice and policy and strives to extend the current evidence base with new insights gained from the work in the community. The conference is a hub of knowledge and action in PHC and this year presenters are invited to consider how their work contributes evidence and innovation to the broader sector.
We seek original research contributions that address key themes currently stirring the sector, from data and evaluation, to quality improvement, and clinical challenges in general practice, nursing and allied health.
In addition to compelling keynote presentations designed to challenge and motivate; the overall program will feature presentations, both oral and poster, symposia and skill-building workshops that inspire innovative ways of thinking to make a difference to future health outcomes for all Australians.
