The following awards and prizes were awarded at the 2007 GP and PHC Research Conference. AAAGP first time presenter prize
The Australian Association for Academic General Practice sponsored a Prize for best paper delivered by a first-time presenter. The person judged as preparing and delivering the Best Paper Presentation received a certificate and a Book Voucher valued at $250.

AAAGP distinguished paper
The AAAGP committee selected two distinguished papers from the submitted abstracts. The selected papers presented during the AAAGP research session and the presenters will receive a certificate.

NICS Evidence into Action prize The National Institute of Clinical Studies (NICS) awarded a $1000 prize for the paper or poster that best demonstrated improving health care by closing an identified gap between the available evidence and clinical practice, within Australian health care settings.

PHC RIS best poster prize
Each year PHC RIS sponsors a poster prize. We do this to promote the effective use of the visual medium, recognise the effort required to create a poster
